No, we’re not on vacation and I’m not talking about a certain “playa”, I am talking about AsturPlaya, our next iPhone app. And no, we’re not insane to launch 2 apps in 2 months, we’ve been working at both in parallel… ok, we’re insane!

We are almost there with ArtistBox!

ArtistBox is our latest baby iPhone app and we are proud to be able to present it to you …but not yet, we’re still polishing it!

Yay! We have attended TiConf 2013!

February 28th, 2013

Dan Tamas speaking at TiConf 2013
Yes, we’ve attended TiConf and our superstar friend Dan even had the honor to give a highly technical (who said boring? NOT true!) speech about optimizing Titanium Appcelerator apps.

I will try and post his speech, slides and video but I cannot promise anything since we are about to launch a new iPhone app in 4 or 5 weeks and we are really busy ironing out the final details. Bear with me, I will try.

It was about time to come with news, I know we have been on radio silence for 3 months now – but Android is not an easy nut to crack and we wanted to make sure the app is stable before submitting it to Google Play.

We launched it now so feel free to download it, it’s free.

Funny ABC v2.0 and more app-news

I know we did not post any news lately but it’s only because we’ve been really busy – Dan working on the GroupTime app (have you noticed his portfolio is increasing constantly?) and me deciding it’s time to update our Funny ABC app cause it’s been a while since we launched it and and it was about time to improve the graphics and re-write the code to improve performance.

Dan Tamas speaking at Appcelerator Meetup @ Mobile World Congress 2012

March 1st, 2012

After speaking at The Evnt in May 2011, 2012 brought to our Titanium Appcelerator developer an invitation to speak at the Appcelerator Meetup held at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona.

Dan’s speech was about building a freelance career in mobile development around the Appcelerator community but basically his idea can be applied in other areas as well.

QR Generator module for Titanium Appcelerator

October 17th, 2011

QR code generator for iOS by Dan Tamas
We just launched an iOs only module that is able to create QR codes directly on the device without using an online service.

It can generate all types of codes (from 1 to 40) and with any level of correction (L, M, Q, H). You can also customize the size of the resulting QR code and it will try to adapt itself to this size to remain perfectly sharp and fully visible.

Dan Tamas logo

We are happy to announce that, finally, our Rborn Development partner has grown up and decided to create his own webpage for his iPhone, iPad and Android projects. And we think the logo suits him perfectly :)

The page was coded using HTML5, CSS3, ARIA to improve accessibility and a stroke of Javascript for the smooth scrolling menu – it can be seen at dan-tamas.me
